On October 14, 2024, the Community Care Network of Kansas, the primary care association for the state, recognized twenty-one health center, clinic staff, and board members during their Annual Conference. Six individuals were recognized for awards in various categories.
At the inaugural awards ceremony, Mona Broomfield, PrairieStar Health Center’s Chief Quality Officer was awarded the Distinguished Service Award – Health Center/Clinic Leader. This award is presented to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to their organization over the course of their tenure at their health center or clinic.
“Mona has not just contributed to PrairieStar Health Center for nearly 22 years, she has truly served her fellow team members, patients and her community,” PrairieStar CEO Bryant Anderson said. “While Mona’s contributions to PrairieStar are many, they are not out of a quest for personal recognition, but out of a love for her team, patients and the mission. Over her time at PrairieStar Mona has been the backbone of quality, ingraining into the minds of every team member, “do the process the right way, every time, for every patient, every day.”
